Visiting New York in the winter season is probably something which features quite highly on any romantic female’s list on things to do. Whether it’s looking at the Christmas tree in Time Square or taking a horse-drawn carriage through Central Park, there is a huge number of ways to embrace your romantic side and plan a trip to New York for a loved one.

It’s no surprise that a lot of people plan trips to New York for proposals or romantic getaways, there is so much to see and do here which will leave long lasting and happy memories. You could climb the Empire State Building (offering a fantastic backdrop for any proposal) or stop at one of the many shops New York offers, including Tiffany’s for all your jewelry requirements.

If you aren’t familiar with New York you can choose to take part in one of the guided tours around the city. These provide you with an opportunity to see some of the more famous landmarks New York has to offer without having to negotiate with the cab hailing or underground system.

Winter is a fantastic time to visit, although remember to wrap up warm as New York has been known to have its fair share of snowstorms and blizzards.
